If you are old enough to know what a “Wish Book” was, then you’re old like me! The “Wish Book” was the Sears Catalog, Christmas edition. By the first of the new year it was tattered to pieces because I wouldn’t put it down! Finally one Christmas the Harmony Guitar I had been drooling over was under the tree! A Wish Book Score!
So, since the “Wish Book” is long gone; I’ve decided to make my own “Guitar Wish Book” and hopefully make some good suggestions for all players.
IYV 6 String IP-350
The IYV IP-350 is modeled after a PRS design, and this guitar rocks! The 2 Humbucking pickups have really thick and heavy tone that screams ROCK! The price on this one fluctuates a bit but the link on the guitar pic should be most current. I have a full review as well if you haven’t seen it already.
Donner DJC-1000S
If you are considering this one for yourself or as a gift to your favorite guitar player, don’t wait! There is currently a $65 off coupon that makes this one a steal! This guitar features the classic Thinline tele look but with a set of humbuckers that sound silky smooth but growl if needed. I have a few Thinline style guitars but this one is my favorite.
Monoprice Indio Retro Classic Guitar
Perhaps you or your giftee is a new player and don’t want to spend a lot until you know you’ll continue playing, then Monoprice is for you. They have among the lowest prices but still maintain quality. Their sunburst tele is no exception and comes with what has to be the lowest price in the Guitar Wish Book!
WestCreek HELIOS
There is a lot to love about WestCreek guitars. The quality is top notch with features like alnico pickups, bone nut and rounded frets. If you are setting up a WestCreek, check out my video about guitar bridges, it may make setup easier. Anyhow, the HELIOS is a great guitar that is fine for any genera of musical styles, and look pretty bad ass to boot!
Leo Jaymz TL
If you are looking for an unusual tele at a bargain price then check out Leo Jaymz. If the flag isn’t your style they have every color and sparkle you could ever want, just don’t want a plain jane solid colors or B&W. I bust on Leo Jaymz because is it “James” or “Jams”? That aside, I like the tele, it’s super fun to play and wasn’t hard on the wallet.
Hopefully this list has given you some guitar gift giving inspiration! I appreciate you clicking the #affilatelinks as it does help support the channel.
